“Can I bring my kids?”
Is that a good idea?

“Will I fall in love?”
Undoubtedly.

Brewfest Frequently Asked Questions

  • Where is the NH Brewfest located?

The festival is located on the grounds of Redhook Ale Brewery, 1 Redhook Way,  Portsmouth NH 03801

  • Is there on-site parking?

Ample parking is provided FREE in the neighboring lots of Great Bay Community College and Sig Sauer

  • Who can come to the festival?

Anyone 21 and older, with a valid I.D. and ticket. ALL I.D.’s will be checked at the gate… we saw Santa Claus get carded last year.

  • Can I leave the festival and return later?

There is no re-entry once you have entered the Brewfest site. Not even if you forgot your lucky, stuffed owl, key chain.

  • What if it rains?

The event is rain or shine, but takes place both under event tents and outdoors. Check the weather and prepare accordingly. If you see a Weather Channel van and happen to spot Jim Cantore battling an open, sideways facing umbrella, odds are plans have changed.

  • Can I bring a folding chair/lawn chair with me?

Unfortunately, we are no longer permitting people to bring a folding and/or lawn chair. If you choose to bring one, it will not be allowed into the Brewfest event site.

  • Will food and non-alcoholic drinks be available for purchase?

Absolutely! Free water will be available at the Prescott Park Arts Festival tent. Food trucks and food vendors will also be on-site throughout the festival grounds selling their product. If you have chosen to be a designated driver, consider a discounted DD ticket package.

  • Can I bring my own food or beverages into the festival?

Sorry, no outside food or beverages allowed, except pretzel necklaces!

  • Can I purchase additional beer at the festival?

No beer will be for sale inside the Brewfest grounds.

  • Will there be an ATM on-site?

No, but the event site is surrounded by banks. Plan accordingly.

  • Do I need to buy beer tokens for tastings?

No. All beer tastings are included with your ticket price.

  • Will any of the beer run out?

Possibly. All beers are subject to availability and popularity, VIP session beers are in short supply and typically are emptied during the VIP session!

  • What if I bought tickets, but will not be able to attend the festival?

Sorry, tickets are non-refundable. Trust me, somebody you know will take them off your hands 🙂

  • Do you accept credit cards or checks at the door?

Credit cards, checks and cash will be accepted for ticket purchases and merchandise purchases on-site.

  • How can I find a specific brewery or beer?

Brewery maps will be available at the door and posted on the website (printable PDF) a few days prior to the event.

  • Can I bring my pet?

    Sorry, pets are not allowed.

  • Can I bring my kid?

No one under 21 will be allowed into the festival.
